Lucy was the skipper of the Rangitoto College 29er yachting team who won the College Sport Auckland Fleet Racing Regatta. She won the award for the Top Female Skipper at the Auckland Harken Keelboat Regatta and won the Open Fleet at the NZSS Team Nationals. Lucy also won the North Island Championships and the New Zealand Open Nationals. Lucy is also a member of the New Zealand Youth Team.
